European Octagonal Solar Post Light, Carved Glass Lantern

This traditional European post head light brings old-world charm to garden pillars, gates and entrances. An octagonal aluminum frame holds carved glass panels, finished in black or antique bronze, for the classic lantern look you see on stately homes. It sits on top of a pillar or gate post and gives driveways, front walks and courtyard entries a warm, timeless welcome.

The light uses solar power with a built-in LED rated 5W and 500 lumens. A remote control switch lets you turn it on and off and change between three light colors: warm, neutral and white. Choose the Small size at 18cm wide and 35cm tall, or the Large size at 23cm wide and 43cm tall, each in black or bronze. A pair on either side of a gate creates a formal, balanced entrance.

The frame is aluminum and the panels are glass, and it arrives partially preassembled. It is rated IP65, waterproof and dustproof, for wet locations. Install it where the solar panel receives direct sun most of the day, and wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth to keep the carved detail sparkling. Pair the bronze finish with brick or stone pillars for a classic European courtyard feel.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
