Chinese Glass Column Solar Landscape Light, Dimmable

This traditional Chinese landscape light stands tall like a garden lantern post, with an iron and aluminum column topped by glass. Three styles (A, B and C) each come in black or bronze, so you can match the finish to your fence, furniture or house trim. It adds height and quiet structure to pathways, ponds, courtyards and lawn edges, and gives your garden a calm, refined feel.

A built-in LED runs on solar power, rated 2W and 200 lumens, and the infinitely dimmable option lets you set the brightness you prefer. With no wiring to run, it is easy to place wherever the sun reaches. Styles A and B measure 19cm wide and 93cm tall, and Style C measures 20cm wide and 100cm tall, a good height for lighting walkways and marking garden entrances.

The body is iron and aluminum, and the shade is glass. It arrives preassembled and is rated IP55, giving good water resistance for wet locations outdoors. Place it where the solar panel gets direct sun for much of the day, and wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth to keep the light clear. Line a few along a stone path with bamboo or ornamental grasses for a peaceful Asian-inspired garden.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
