Chinese Wood Wall Sconce, Round Glass Orb Shade

This Chinese style wall sconce pairs a round glass orb shade with a wood and iron frame for a calm, balanced look. The globe glows like a soft lantern, and the walnut and white tones bring natural warmth to the wall. The single light uses an E26 bulb, sold separately, and works with LED, incandescent or fluorescent bulbs. The glass orb spreads a gentle, even glow that is easy on the eyes. An adjustable chain is included with the fixture. Two designs are offered: Design A is 15cm wide and 50cm tall, and Design B is 20cm wide and 50cm tall. Both suit bedside walls and reading corners.

The fixture is made of wood and iron with a glass shade, and it is rated for dry locations. Wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth once the bulb cools, and dust the wood regularly. Hang a pair beside a low platform bed for a serene look. Style it with linen bedding, a paper screen and a small bonsai for a calm, Asian inspired bedroom. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
