Solar Pathway Lights, Color Firework Projection Stake

These solar pathway lights do more than light the way. A honeycomb crystal-look lens takes the glow from a small LED and throws a sparkling starburst pattern of color across stones, pavers and short grass. The effect is soft and festive, and it turns an ordinary walkway, patio edge or flower bed into a little nightly light show. Choose a pack of 1, 2 or 4 lights.

Each light charges by day through a polycrystalline solar panel and turns on at dusk and off at dawn on its own. After a sunny day it can glow up to 10 to 13 hours, or about 6 to 8 hours after a cloudy one. One button on the bottom switches between a steady warm glow and a soft color-fade mode. Each light stands 33cm tall with the stake and 12.4cm wide at the top.

The body is weather-sealed ABS with a crystal-look glass lens, rated IP65, so it is waterproof and can stay out year-round. Push the metal stake into soil, twist on the light head and switch it on. Space lights about 0.6m to 0.9m (2 to 3 feet) apart, in a spot with at least 6 hours of direct sun, and wipe the panel and lens with a damp cloth every few weeks.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
