These solar bee string lights turn a deck, fence or planter into a glowing little bee garden after dark. Fifty bee-shaped LEDs with frosted wings give off a soft amber color that feels cozy and a bit magical, like fireflies drifting through the yard. Drape them along a railing, through shrubs or around a pergola for an easy piece of garden decor that delights guests.

A small solar panel with a garden stake charges the lights during the day, and they switch on by themselves at dusk. After a full day of sun, expect about 10 to 12 hours of glow, with 4 to 8 hours of sunlight needed for a full charge. Press the button on the panel to cycle through 8 light modes. The string is 7m long, about 23FT, and each string runs on its own panel.

The bees have an ABS plastic body and frosted PVC wings, and the set is rated IP65, so it is waterproof and ready for rain, wind and dew. Stake the panel in a sunny spot in the garden or a planter, press the power button and let it charge. On heavily overcast days, glow time will be a little shorter. For a dreamy patio, weave them through a potted olive tree or along a fence above flower beds.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
