Japandi Wide Rice Paper Pendant Light, Pebble Shape

Wide and low, this rice paper pendant light takes the shape of a smooth, river-worn pebble. Natural mulberry paper is wrapped by hand over a ribbed internal skeleton, giving it fine texture and a gentle, organic outline. It captures the calm of Japandi design and works beautifully in serene bedrooms, quiet reading corners and dining rooms.

The broad paper shade surrounds a central bulb and spreads a soft, warm light outward across the room, adding depth without glare. It takes one E27 bulb, sold separately. Choose a 50cm or 60cm diameter, each with a white or black cord, and matte white hardware. The wide, low profile anchors a dining table or a primary bedroom without blocking sightlines or crowding the ceiling. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

It is made from mulberry paper over a reinforced internal skeleton. Dust it gently with a soft, dry brush and keep it away from moisture and steam. Use a low-heat LED bulb. A black cord adds a crisp graphic line against white walls, while a white cord keeps the look soft and seamless. Pair it with oak, linen and stoneware for a calm, natural room, or hang two side by side above a long dining table for a soft, floating effect.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
