Japandi Silk Fabric Cloud Pendant Light

Soft and sculptural, this Japandi pendant light has an irregular, cloud-like shade formed from fine silk fibers. Its undulating edge recalls the layered petals of a flower, adding gentle movement to a clean, minimal room. The look celebrates natural imperfection and quiet refinement, and it makes an elegant focal point in dining rooms, bedrooms and creative studios.

The layered fabric shade surrounds a central bulb and diffuses it into a soft, warm, even glow, creating a calm atmosphere in the evening. It takes one E27 bulb, sold separately. Choose from three diameters, 40cm, 50cm or 60cm, to suit the scale of the room: the smallest works over a bedside or desk, while the largest fills the space above a dining table. Despite its volume, it hangs from a secure, light suspension. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

It is made from a sculptural silk-fiber composite over an internal frame. Dust it gently with a soft brush or a hair dryer on a cool setting, and keep it dry. Use a low-heat LED bulb. Pair it with pale oak, linen upholstery and plaster walls for a serene Japandi look, or hang it in a bright white room to let its soft, sculptural shape stand out.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
