Wood and Glass Lantern Table Lamp, Frosted Globe Shade

Shaped like a classic carry lantern, this table lamp wraps a rounded white glass shade in a wooden frame with an arched top handle and a structured base. The look is warm and a little nostalgic, yet clean enough for modern rooms. It works well on a bedside table, a hallway console or a desk, and the larger sizes make a gentle statement on a sideboard or living room end table.

The frosted glass softens the bulb into an even, warm glow that spreads across nearby surfaces without glare. It takes one E26 bulb, which is not included, and comes with a 150cm / 59IN plug cord and a US plug. Choose from three sizes, from a compact 30cm / 11.8IN tall lamp to a 52cm / 20.5IN tall version, in a light wood grain or a darker walnut wood finish, both paired with the white shade.

The frame is wood and the shade is glass. Dust the frame with a dry cloth and clean the shade gently with a soft cloth once the lamp has cooled. Keep it indoors on a stable, level surface, and route the cord behind furniture to keep it tidy. For a layered look, place the small size on a stack of books beside a trailing plant and a ceramic bowl.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
