Alabaster Globe Pendant Light, Black Tripod Frame

A hand-carved alabaster sphere sits in a slim black ring frame on this sculptural pendant light, held by a balanced three-point suspension. Inspired by planetary orbits and geometric sculpture, it brings a calm, artful focal point to a bedside, breakfast bar or entryway. The contrast of white veined stone and matte black metal suits minimalist, modern and transitional rooms, and it looks striking when grouped as a cluster.

The translucent alabaster spreads warm white light evenly at 3000K, highlighting the cloud-like veining in the stone. It draws 12W and is G9 and LED compatible. Two sizes are available, with a 10cm or 15cm sphere and an overall height of 45cm. The three suspension cables converge into a slim cylindrical hub, adding geometric detail. It runs on AC 90V to 260V, so it works on standard US 120V power.

The globe is genuine alabaster, so each one has unique markings, and the frame is electroplated iron and copper with a matte black finish. Dust the stone with a soft, dry cloth. As a hardwired fixture with a solid stone sphere, installation by a licensed electrician is recommended to keep it secure and level. Hang a pair either side of a bed, or a trio at different heights over a bar.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
