Carved Alabaster Stone Wall Sconce, Floral Up Light

Shaped like a blooming flower, this wall sconce features a translucent carved alabaster shade with a scalloped edge, set on a slim vertical stem with a round wall plate. It feels botanical and calm, and it works with modern, traditional and organic interiors. Mount it beside a bed, in an entry corridor, along a dining room wall or in a lounge for gentle accent light.

The open top sends light up toward the ceiling and keeps the bulb hidden from view, while the stone softens glare and glows warmly through its natural veining. Choose a Brass or Black hardware finish; both measure 13cm in diameter by 31cm tall. The socket takes an E14 screw base bulb, sold separately, and the fixture works on US 110V to 120V household current. This is a hardwired wall mount sconce. Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Each shade is cut from real alabaster, so the lines and patterns differ from piece to piece and no two lamps look exactly alike. The bracket is iron. Alabaster is a soft stone, so dust it with a dry microfiber cloth and avoid water, sprays and harsh cleaners. For a balanced look, install a pair on either side of a headboard and pair them with linen bedding and light wood nightstands.

• Cleaning: Dust with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads and spraying liquid directly on the item.
• Lighting safety: Switch off the power and let bulbs cool before cleaning or changing them. Use the bulb type and wattage listed in the description.
• Hardwired fixtures: Ceiling lights, pendants and wired wall sconces should be installed by a licensed electrician in line with local building codes. Plug-in lamps are ready to use with a standard US outlet.
• Outdoor and solar: Place solar panels where they get several hours of direct sunlight a day, and bring delicate pieces indoors during severe weather.
• Mirrors and wall decor: Hang with wall anchors rated for the item's weight, and check the fixings from time to time.
